Elective
This survey course examines the laws that regulate health care organizations, as well as relationships between health care providers and patients. Among the topics for selective study are laws related to the internal structure of health care organizations, accreditation of providers and personnel, privacy of patient data, liability for medical malpractice and legal duties related to administration of health benefits.
