MLS 405 - American Legal System

This course will introduce students to sources of law including Constitutions,statutes, case law, common law and regulations,the structure and functions of U.S. courts at both the federal and state levels, the jurisdiction of both federal and state courts as well as the roles of legal professionals and the role of law in society.
