LAW 6101 - Introduction to LawThe primary objective of this course is to ground students in the essential knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the study of law. The course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of the American legal system, legal education, and legal profession. It also explores basic strategies for reading and "briefing" court opinions; taking useful class notes; outlining law courses; performing sound legal analysis; and answering essay and multiple-choice exam questions.
