LAW 7650 - Lawyer Wellbeing and Professional Identity

This survey course will emphasize a holistic approach to law student and lawyer success, competence, optimal performance, and thriving through exploration of evidence-based skills that foster the various domains of well-being: physical, emotional, intellectual, social, financial, spiritual, organizational, and environmental. Using interactive exercises, current research, and engaging speakers, and drawing from the fields of medicine, neuroscience, organizational psychology, positive psychology, business, and law, this course explores developing professional identity through the study and application of guiding principles and well-being practices considered foundational to successful legal practice.
