4. Academic Calendar 

A.    Students are cautioned not to make discretionary plans that might prevent them from attending class or completing course assignments during academic terms. Attendance is not excused except for compelling or unavoidable circumstances.

B.     The School reserves the right to change calendar dates beyond the current academic year.

C.     For onsite courses: during the Fall and Spring semesters, holiday make-up classes generally are held the same week on the “dark” night for each campus (Tuesday in Ventura; Wednesday in Santa Barbara). Summer holiday make-ups may be held on Saturdays or weeknights; dates will be announced in course syllabi.

D.    The Academic Calendars for the J.D. and M.L.S. Programs are published on the School’s website, www.CollegesofLaw.edu, and Gateway, https://My.CollegesofLaw.edu/.
